So, what happened was.......

 

I parked it in public car park near my house one night which I would never normally do, but there was something blocking my usual space. So I emptied everything out and put it in the car park.

 

Next day it was gone!

 

Went home to call Police and get a phone call from some bloke. (my mumber is of course on the side of the vehicle)

 

Blokes says "have you lost a car?"

 

Yes, why where is it?

 

Its down such and such foot path.

 

Is it damaged?

 

Oh yes! And they have been through your stuff in the back!

 

 

Strange I thought, as there was no "stuff" in the back. Anyway I thanked him and called the Police and told them not just that it was stolen but where it now was

 

"Oh yes" said the Police. "We know about that one, its been involved in a crime, please do not touch anything. Officers are on there way to it now"
