Passed my b+e test today

Can you take the test with a ring and pin coupling, or a pintle and lunette (NATO) coupling, or does it have to be a ball hitch?

 

Congratulations on passing, brilliant job! It gets easier from now on because you don't have an assessor with you.

Not sure about different coupling options. I took mine in a new citroen car(can't remember model) and a small box trailer with 1300kg mam. The car did make it easy to hitch up with reversing sensor. Hill assist breaks, auto handbrake and auto wipers. So less to think about. Auto handbrake is weird though.

Alright in a new car but will probably all go wrong in a year or two.

Yes I spent most of yesterday rebuilding the electric/auto hand brake on our 60 plate disco what a complete disaster come back lever and cable all is forgiven.
