ive been looking at load sensing pumps so should have that covered as for the electro that would mean a new valve bank im guessing

Load sensing pump sounds expensive? I take it thats a got a moving swash plate in it. Rather than a fixed gear pump. Yes to go EH you'd need a new valve bank with solinoids on top of the valves. I'd imagine that the whole lot could come from forwarder for breaking.

It might be worth having a chat with Mark at Ryetec - he supplies KTS cranes and has roof mounted themas far as I know. Cheaper and stronger than Botex!

LOL :laugh1:

no not my cup of tea plus heard too many horror stories about breakages and seem to have a bad reputation in forestry

parallel is better suited to harvesting rather than forwarding.

My MB Trac works my Kesla crane well only thing to be aware of is the super thin oil for the standard Merc hydraulic pump. I had to get the oil formulated by Crown Oil and it is Hydraulic 10 approx £50 for 25 ltrs.
