you could try doing what ice-skaters do - wear their tights over their boots...

 

Is saw dust a common problem for ice skaters?

Forearms of old sweatshirt upside down over boots

 

+1 Did that on site wearing wellies in trenches, stops stones falling down boots.

 

Simple but works well.

Plus - no one's mentioned the bollocking you get when you take your boots and walk inside...:thumbdown:

 

 

I must blank that out as i always treat my lady to a daily surprise. Could be connie, could be ash lol
