Found the site through a link somewhere, sorry but can't remember where if it comes backto me i'll let you know. I was just typing in tree sugeon and arborist trying to find out which route best suited me.

1) Get job with local company get experience then hopefully get put through tickets or day/block release at college

2) save up get tickets then look for work

3) do NC or SVQ full time

will look into funding to see if any is about because when i phoned SAC scottish agrecultural college was quoted £800 for chainsaw certificate which kind knocked me back a bit.
