Husky 365 special. Why the name 'special'?

As the title says. I have this saw and I love it. Even if it a little on the heavy side.

 

365 special differs from original 365 in that it has the complete bottom end of a 372 . May be has a different carb as well . This making it a slightly over engineered saw that you can rely on to go on for ever being that it revs slower than a 372 . Now comes the 372xtorque which I understand is a restricted 372 due to the transfer cover having a baffle in that can easily be removed . Recent threads about it . Oh yea side chain tensioner and grey top cover clops instead of orange .....

Mmmm, never done one to be honest.

 

I know such as spud know of some reputable none OEM types, perhaps he maybe along soon, or PM him.

 

Have a look on scary bay, might give you an idea on price, but I'd go with a manufacturer on recommendation unless you spill out for genuine😧
