Its time to replace the 'greedy boards' on my transit, looking for advice.

Usually I have used 8x4 sheets of 18mm ply but I have come across another product that looks a better bet.

Ecosheets, recycled plastic sheets distributed nationwide from Animal Arks

Got some samples with an idea to use it for the base of a green roof project on a latge cycle store.

sheets cut with circular saw or handsaw and can be screwed together.

Hi treefrog were the pretty good on sending samples or did you have to tell them a little story?

I,m thinking of building a new building to house the chipper & some removable sides for my landy tipper and ifor.

Hello, so do ya tink an 12mm thick, 8'x4' sheet would be rigid/strong enuf for greedy boards then ?

I'm pretty interested to see where this thread goes. I need to make up some sides for my mog and I'm not sure I want the bother of replacing ply every few years.

I looked into using this stuff for my cabstar, decided not to, I read somewhere it expends a lot when hot, so it would be awkward attaching to a vehicle securely

That could be a consideration. Don't really want it bowing when it's left in the sun.

How do you guys make your frames up? I've been thinking 50mm box section with top hinged angle iron doors made so that the weight of the chip pushes the board against the steel frame. But what gauge/mm box and angle to use? I'm no engineer but I can weld to an acceptable standard.

Not a bad price for this stuff, might be interested in some 6 or 9mm stuff as ground protection sheets if these wet winters continue.

sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.
