Hi Dean,

that tractor actually has a front linkage and a little blade for pushing brash out of the way.

We normally spec with a sump guard, and occasionally a basic grill guard.

I'll see if I can find some pictures of a new one with forestry spec.

Hi Tom,

that's a 1.8 ton. I wouldn't put more than a 2 ton behind an 835.

The tractor itself weighs about a ton.

If you fancy a little trip to Hampshire you are welcome to come have a drive around on a new 835TS.

I dont have any pictures of am 835 winching so looking forward to Ty's pictures!

I went to pick up my new Uniforest 3.5 winch today.

Very happy with it.

It sits really nicely on the AGT835 and seems to be very solidly built.

I will try and sort out some action shots once I have the PTO sorted.

Looks like a nice little set up and the engine out the front should help to keep it all in balance.

Be interesting to see what she will pull - are you leaving the turf tires on?

Cheers

mac

Yes the balance on them is great, as is the fact the front end can twist to keep all four wheels on the ground.

I think they are rated to lift 890kg on the arms but as the whole thing only weighs 1100kg I am not sure you could actually get that without some more weight on the front.

The turf tyre are what it had on when I found it - apparently it was being used to paint the lines on football pitches :confused1:

I am planning to get some taller, deeper tread tyres as this will also give me a bit more ground clearance. But it needs to earn some money first before I can afford it!

Just spotted this thread.. I'm running an 835 with a log arch and timber trailer. You're going to ask for a bunch of figures and stats I expect.!! Suffice to say it does ok.. I wouldn't try skidding out big loads on the 35e winch too. It does it (reluctantly) but it's a bit underpowered. Of course it all depends on traction too.

Some pics attached but 'older phone' ones on my Instagram account.

Search hashtag #agromehanika there.
