I just bought a cs280wes as a topping/chipper saw, it seems to be good quality and well put together. The only issues so far are that it is a little slow on the pickup when revved but this will prob get better with use. The only other thing is that the Stihl combi can no spill spouts won't fit into the oil and fuel tanks, a funnel has to be used. For what it is I'm well happy with it, was only £230 Inc vat so can't go wrong!

Hi all does anyone know when the new echo surgery saw is coming out in the uk.....cs360t, I think that's the number.

Cheers Matty :thumbup1:

I spoke to Echo today.

The cs360TES is current in the 2014 catalogue and is available now. Well it would be if they were not selling faster than they are arriving in the UK. All the stock arriving on the next delivery is allocated.

If you want one then you will need to order one.

I checked this with Echo as well, and that is correct.

The 355 is only available on the US market.

the ES is important tho as the 360T and 360TES are different animals...

top handle echo's currently available in the US are; 271T, 303T, 330T, 355T and 360T...

Es does that stand for European standard

could be, but the 360TES is based on the 355T the us 360T is an up-dated older design (i think) and a cheaper less powerful saw than the 355. Echo numbering is quite straightforward and the sheer number of models on offer is not confusing at all:001_tongue:
