the new T540xp's plastic casing actually is about as tough as a chocolate egg shell.

 

My 2 month old machine slid off the back seat of the ranger onto tarmac as i opened the door and fuel sprayed all over the drive. fuel tank cracked along the weld. a 2 ft drop - utterly pathetic. my 14 month old son's toys could be dropped from five times the height.

 

really narked - the dealer has said it isnt a warranty job

 

photos below hopefully, with a comparison of the same weld on the 200T!!!!

 

any advice on how to play it gratefully received!

HI MARK you no a man who fix that easy job THERES A CHAP ON HERE CALLED SPUBB STEVE he will fix it thanks jon :thumbup:

My 540 tank has done exactly the same, but the opposite seam.

 

The build quality is pathetic, IMO.

 

pathetic indeed. it certainly is plasticky, but then everything seems to be getting plastickier and plastickier all the time. what did you do then mr huck?
