Same opinion as stubby. Spud ported my 346xp in December and put it on an 8 rim on it with 13 inch bar. It is fantastic in cutting speed and power. However even with it ported you need to be revving fully to keep it going. I use my other 346xpg(unported) with a 7 tooth rim and unless Im going through twigs soon pick up the ported one again. Unless you are going through very soft timber such as spruce your saw will bog down alot with a 13 inch bar on 8 tooth rim, unless you get it ported and keep the chain sharp.

Mmmm porting! I want to send it to spud to get it checked over anyway to see why it seized, but not sure about porting it.

 

I think al stick with the 7 rim on it, want to keep a 15 bar on it.

 

I sold my stihl to get a husky to port now I'm thinking....no:confused1:
