First day using the zig zag like how compact it is but can't get my 13mm rope through it and it doesn't self tend, really want to try the spider jack now nowt wrong with the zig zag just niggled me a bit

It will but not at full effect, to get the best out of it use a smaller rope it will run smother and self tend better.

13mm is far to snug a fit in my oinion...for best results...11.7 self tends beautifuly! Agree with OMT...11 mil would be tough to grip (unless you have very small hands)

I had the zz1 and then went on to get the spider jack I personally prefer the sj due to the easy self tailing I use velocity for my short rope as it falls through the sj with no rope weight below. And have blue tongue for my long rope as its easier on the hands in big trees

I love my Spiderjack.have done for 2 yesrs.But what i REALLY like about the ZZ is when on limb walks or decending..you can fine tune the friction so delicately...very prussick like...
