I smashed the carbide off the razor cutter with a lump of metal in a stump!just out of intrest how much are the multi tip cutters compared to the razor cutters I've just had a price of big chip £10 plus vat plus carriage

 

Is that genuine or non genuine teeth at that price?

Mine do that all the time.. Can wreck a set like that in few hours..

All,depends what area your from and soil types.

We have lot flint..

Broken teeth don't make that much diff.

Just change the odd one now and then and try to put a damaged one then good then damaged

Seems to work better.

I thought genuine Multitip were approx £10ea but I thought the Carlton teeth were unique to Carlton due to the offset mounting, thought these were approx £13-15ea.

Think the cutter head is made by sandvik there's a fellas website I come across in Europe that retips them weather that's any good I don't no soon as I get chance I'm going to see my mates dad who imports a lot of mowers and ground work equipment from the USA see if he can find them
