Any pioneers still using the MK1 Zig Zag captivated?

How are the parts wearing and on what ropes?

I did use mine a fair bit after the re-call...used a petzel dyneema connector as back-up.it has now become a rather sentimental ornament.

Mines wearing fine, using poison ivy

Use mine all the time with tachyon, not the slightest sign of any wear

No u can't.

I've used my ZZ a lot with tachyon and no wear whatsoever the only problem I've experienced is if I'm wearing gloves they occasionally get caught in the links

Got a question for all you zz users.....when using mine today on a body thrust back up to of tree as it was a relatively short distance It was noted by some kind younger chap that I was only pulling the tail to move the zz up the rope he seemed to think this was bad????

and promptly to me I should pull above the zz and adjust slack after with tail...

 

am I really doing a bad thing??? It seemed quicker and easier
