Well my Timberwolf TW 159 VTR, 2008 has just come up to 952 hours, in that time I have serviced it every 50 hours, changed blades every couple of weeks, put a hydralic pump, rotor shaft, bearings, fan blades , bearings, and a pully tensioner. Grease it regularly and look after it and they serve to do what you ask. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1394639830.475173.jpg.8d86cbe615035687c65c20a5095fed75.jpg

That is the main thing with any kit. Most of the chippers out there probably that break down and are thought of as rubbish because of no maintainance. Land rovers need maintaining probably more often than other cars but well maintained means they will run well too.

I've the same chipper same year just over a 1000 hrs on the clock, had 800hrs when i had it from orange plant just over a year ago. Service it every 100hrs oils etc, blades change every few weeks. Bearings went about a month ago and alloy fin went yesterday. I should of had fins done when bearings went. I look after all my kit as i cant stand being let down by things breaking on jobs. not sure if I'll go with wolfs again just because of the bearings and alloy fins, i also have the 150 dhb. will probably go Jensen or Forst next
