Advice on decent boots?

I wear air streams and they are pretty sweet , best boots I've worn for all round tree work, two felling seasons in and they hardly have a mark.

you should buy these and tell me if they are any good on spikes Freeworker - ArbPro Cervino Wood Chainsaw Protective Boot - climb up high!.

they will be my next purchase if my meindles ever wear out .

Two years in Protector Pros and very happy spiking in them. Just coming to the end of their life now. Still waterproof, but I do look after them.

 

Avoid the Cofra boots for spiking though. The sole isn't rigid enough. Lovely for normal climbing as they are very flexible. Just not that waterproof either.
