can someone recommend me a ground helmet that ISNT STIHLL! :001_rolleyes:

 

If you let us know what you don't like about the STIHL helmet, and why, it would be easier to give you good alternatives.

between me and groundsman weve had 4 still helmets. the ear defenders are pap compared to the sordin ones on my petzl one, also the dont like to stay on your head :001_tt2:

Stihl markets several different ground helmets with different ear defenders. Some are made by Peltor (3M), some are made by others. Different mounting systems, too.

 

But if you are not getting along with Peltor ear defendors and Stihl helmet fit, then I guess Husqvarna helmets is worth a try.

ive been thinking the same thing due to shoddy ear defense - and i recall (but cant find) an excellent thread from a few months ago that was specifically talking ear defense - and was working out how to get some that would fit straight onto my budget helmet. just got to arbtalk-fo the hell out of it till i come across it again.
