Maybe we should start a "pretty gear" thread.LOL I might just pm Mr Bullman about that....I just bought some Yale blaze and thats very pretty.

I offer you this piece of useless info,,, if you ever have the chance to wear the orange stihl eye protection glasses, look through them at this rope it turns illuminous its awesome (yes i am sad haha) ;)

5m Yale xtc strop with split tale end and one end and pulley with distel hitch on other...

 

(just taken them by the way :))

surely you could loose about 4 inches of "drop" by pulling the distel closer to the pulley, by re tying your fishermans and snipping off excess. Make a much neater set-up.

Should be fairly self explanatory.:001_smile:I generally have it attached with the krab on my right side d, and anothe krab on the end for positioning, even spiking.

 

I dont want to alarm you but there isnt a Karabiner on the end of your lanyard. Just make sure you attach one before you climb next.:001_tongue:

you are right but just not got round to doing it yet :)

I think i have just realised where i have been going wrong all these years. I could never actually work out how to use the damn thing, so just had it hanging on my harness to look good. Thats why its so clean...Thanks Frank.:001_tongue:
