The custom made pulley saver I bought is far superior to the official green one, which barely ever retrieves. I tend to take it out before I leave the tree as a good habit nowadays, so I guess I may as well just start using a sling and pulley. it rarely takes more than 2 or 3 mins to climb up and get it at the end of a reduction, rather than risk pulling it out (although if you want to change anchor mid-climb, it is a factor!)

I've got a small video to put up soon from a couple years back, but it's a scary thought to think I did a whole crane job with the central pin missing out the cam of my Art rope guide :(

 

I thought it had happened when retrieving it from taking out the last section but when I watched the footage back and see it missing when I put it in I went as white as a ghost!!

 

Pulley saver for me hands down :)

And they say SRT is dangerous? Taking links out of the system is never a bad thing..:confused1:
