Pully saver all the way....I climb with a spider jack and the pully saver works brilliant with it. I would say one of the best bit of climbing kit I have bought. All be it, its a tad exspensive but well worth. I found the 1.25 m one perfect lengh.

The custom made pulley saver I bought is far superior to the official green one, which barely ever retrieves. I tend to take it out before I leave the tree as a good habit nowadays, so I guess I may as well just start using a sling and pulley. it rarely takes more than 2 or 3 mins to climb up and get it at the end of a reduction, rather than risk pulling it out (although if you want to change anchor mid-climb, it is a factor!)

I have had that a couple times but I found that I was just doing it to tight to the trunk. Now I dont do it as tight its never got stuck. Or if you choke it, it seems to come out well and all. Try slacking it ofd a littlw more and that may help you.

I've got a small video to put up soon from a couple years back, but it's a scary thought to think I did a whole crane job with the central pin missing out the cam of my Art rope guide :(

I thought it had happened when retrieving it from taking out the last section but when I watched the footage back and see it missing when I put it in I went as white as a ghost!!

Pulley saver for me hands down :)
