Arb waste. We're taking 80x80 builders sacks that work out as 0.6cube. So ovet 1.2cube in 2 bags £120

 

Seen the £60 a cube replys. No no I'm not stupid. It's a side line thou, pays extra off the mortgage :)

I haven't ordered softwood in 2 years but last I was told it was costing £30 £35 a ton hardwood is only £40 how do you manage £25 a bag difference

Why is softwood cheaper? Itscost you the same to cut and season it as hardwood surely

 

Less energy in a given volume compared to hard woods. About a third less.

energy is irrelevant its about costs to produce and the price to buy in cord is getting closer and closer to hardwood prices selling softwood 30% 50% cheaper is not sustainable.
