I run a 24" Sugi pro light bar on my 372 and think its a cracking piece of kit . Best quality bar IMO .

Yes they are.

 

Currently had mine for a 2 months. It looks a hell of a lot better than a husky bar of that age. In really doesn't burr up that badly either.

 

As for chains i use Oregon ones

what is the overall difference with the sugi bars,do they last longer,stronger etc ??,toyed with trying one but don't really know the benefits

I've got 2 13" bar from sugi one on 346 one on 550. I normally find with the Husky ones there is no writing left on the bar at the end of day one. They're down to the metal buy the end of the week. Due to the high chain speed on the husky i find the rails were quickly and the nose sprokets tend to splay.

 

My Sugi bars after a week cutting large larch about as big as you can do with a 13" bar are still ok. After a month some paint has worn off but they still look good. I've also found the rails to be rock hard and wear much slower than the husky ones.

 

I also like the replaceable nose sprokets. I'd buy more that for sure. Yes they're expensive but i feel the quality speaks for its self.
