Buying a new chipper. Advice please

Acacia use/hire out Greenmech Chippers, which are absolutely brilliant. The Greenmech team have thought of so many useful touches! Even though the Greenmech is more money to start, the repairs/servicing costs may end up being much lower - maybe look into the cost of parts for them both.

Have you thought about hiring both for a day or getting a demonstration from the dealers so you can get a feel for the features and differences?

What’s “the new feed system” on the Bandit 75XP? Thanks in advance.

We have only changed two parts of the 75xp to improve it, one is the extended discharge flipper which is now 22" to better direct the chip as they fire pretty well & the second is now a choice of Three different feed rollers. These are straight ,aggressive or curved, the straight was std fitment but we always took aggressive with double slats but the curved units are especially good on deadwood to stop jamming. On trials these have been 100% & are offered at no extra cost.

Hi guys, I'm looking at a new chipper, been in touch with redwood and they are trying to talk us towards a forst 6" tracked roughly 23'000+ vat, we were looking at the 7.5" Jensen to start with but it's 5000 dearer than the forst so just wondering if it's worth the extra 5000. Any views on this would be helpful as I've never heard of or used a forst. Jensen I know and like a lot but 5000 is a lot extra. Regards Neil.

The a540t? It's has a wider hopper and a bigger opening and swallows the material. We just bought one,
