And your client sounds like a prize cock.....

 

I could tell you some classics from this guy ...He use to be one of the main guys for a well known tree society (this should make him know better!)on one lecture or walk type thing he produced a willow catkin and told the crowd this was the trees penis.... i often have to ask myself is he for real.

i would big shot that nice open v near centre

then spike and strip ivy then just see how it went

snapping stuff out with landy would not be my choice

i have done muchos dead elms and think you will struggle snappng em out with out either gobs or snap cuts unless you could partially cut em with a hyunchi from the ground but elm takes some cutting

shame i am busy tomorrow i love doing jobs like that

i wouldnt start pulling bits off it, you will only get the ends and weaken the root plate, strip it on the way up. dead elm is surprisingly strong. thump thump thumpity thump

 

good point dude it was not my idea honest but the guy seems to think his landy should do the trick! i might let him try though:sneaky2:
