How often do you turn gm disc blades?

Just out of interest, how often do you guys turn your blades round on your greenmech chippers and what do you pay to get them sharpened?

proberly dont turn them enough, but depends what ive been chipping, and listen out for the no stress working a bit harder. to sharpen a full set was about 80 pounds.

Turn mine every 30 ish hours.

get them sharpened by Saturn Machine Knives (or whatever they are called now).

Nothing like £80 a set but I had 4 sets sharpened at once.

I think it was under £100 for 4 sets including return postage.

They even packed them in identically weighted pairs.

I think we do ours about the same hours

if you email them they will give you a price to receive blades sharpen and send back

ive had a 4 day turn around

When you say a 'set' do you mean 2 or 4 blades?

on my 220 there 9 on the fly wheel in rows of 3. so 9 in a set.

9 blades! theres only 2 on my arborist 15-23
