Im giving my dosko stump grinder a bit of tlc at the moment, ive had it all stripped down for some engine work to be done and i thought i would try to get the handbake working as its never worked, but i think there is somthing missing and cannot quite get my head around what it is. I have looked on the dosko parts list but it is not very clear. Is there anyone with a similar machine(18hp self propelled) that could take some pics that i can compair. Thanks in advance Luke

  10. The thing your pointing at stops the clutch spinning. there must be a wire plugged in wrong somewhere shorting the clutch out.

    Another tree guy local to me with the same name has been hounded by a load of key board warriors over the last couple of days.
  12. Thats what i feared, proberly even more now. Just wondering if they can be reconitioned as the live feed wire on mine has coroded at the point it attaches to the unit which means i cannot solder it back on properly. Would be a shame to have to buy a whole new one at that sort of price.
  13. Hi all, Im in need of a Clutch for my dosko 18 hp stump grinder and have draw a blank in finding any parts dealers in the uk. Is there anyone out there know of any? Any help would be apreciated

  15. I have a steel lock box for sale with roller shutter doors off a mitsubushi canter thats going for a fraction of that, im in the midlands if you intrested.
  16. The single cabs are great trucks and hold the weight well, but the double cabs are heavy beast with not much payload.

  18. I try not to think about people like that, if i did i'd proberly only have a bow saw from fear of getting done over all the time.
  19. I agree they are very good machines. Out of interest what year where the older 9 disc machine with the izusu engine?
  20. on my 220 there 9 on the fly wheel in rows of 3. so 9 in a set.
  21. I'll have to look up their number, sounds like im paying a bit to much. Do you have to send them by post and how long does it take.
  22. proberly dont turn them enough, but depends what ive been chipping, and listen out for the no stress working a bit harder. to sharpen a full set was about 80 pounds.
