Help with Fungi ID

Hi,

New to this forum although I've been reading it for a while.

I'm a photographer part time and could do with some help identifying a few fungi from last autumn. Rather than paste all the photos here (there are quite a few) I've put them up on temporary pages of my photography website, see links below :-

Fungi I've tentatively identified but would like confirmation :-

Gary Cook Photography - Photographs of Fungi Tentatively Identified, Photos, Photo, Photograph, Travel stock library

Fungi I haven't yet identified :-

Gary Cook Photography - Photographs of Fungi Not Identified, Photos, Photo, Photograph, Travel stock library

And if you're interested a few that I have identified :-

On each page simply click on a thumbnail to see a larger image. Please note however that this is a part of my website that is still under development so the search function and some of the links to the travel photography etc don't yet work.

Any help you can give would be appreciated, either by reply to this thread or email (best if you can quote the photo number at the bottom left hand corner of each image).

Many thanks,

Gary

Very impressive collection and resource Gary.

You must spend a lot of time out and about with your camera.

Will try and tackle some of the un-Id'd ones when I get some time.

Thanks for sharing :001_smile:

Nice pics

A small point, scientific mame should be in italics or underlined, with a capital for the first letter of the genus and lowercase the species. Eg Ganoderma applanatum..

This is true because at college, during ident test, it was 1 point for the Genus and 3 points for the species. But only if you got it bang on! if you didn't twas nil points :sneaky2:
