Yeah but compared to others there beasties.

 

I like compact since we live in a tin can for a country. Vermeer are very much for the american market.

Vermeer make a large range of grinders, from from very small to large. They are based in Pella Iowa, where most of their products are sold, but the ownership is still Dutch, and their designs reflect that.

Not sure what your designation of beastie is, but Vermeer's biggest machine is 102hp. big, but does not compare to the Carlton 275hp hurricane RS, the Rayco 275hp track grinder, or the new Bandit 400hp track grinder.

i love vermeer stump grinders have never let us down even though we do mainly street trees and hit granit concrete stone and in fact everything you can imagine it still eats everything

on a site like this you hope to learn from the experience of others, when people put up post about things they have little experience of it just muddies the water and causes confusion.imo

Fair enough but i have used these machines and found them to be bigger than others so what was wrong with that.

 

that was all i was saying just an opinion i only rant on a chat bull wen some one does put an off the topic post on.
