Tutti-fruity Chestnut !

Where i used to live in Yorkshire there was a line of Horse chestnuts like that, they had more carnea than the one you saw monkey. I suspect originaly they were 50/50 but the hippocastaneum was more vigorous. If I remember rightly they were near Cherry Burton, perhaps if one of our east yorkshire members is passing that way they could take a pic.:001_smile:

 

Were they the roadside ones from the crossroads back towards Beverley, Tom?

Just realised its 20 years since I lived there:scared1:

 

My mum now lives at Wetwang so I still get down a bit but with my grans not being in Patrington any more its a long time since I,ve been out that way.
