My mate gets about 35MPG he reckons on his 56 Ranger.

 

Lucky him! More than I get from my 01 Mazda!

Not as good on fuel as I have been told by various people it ranges from 40-55mpg. Thought that was a bit far fetched for a truck

for most tippers you can halve that and that would be a good day. They are heavy on the way home as well. We had a non turbo defender tipper that did 16 mpg. I only average 40 mpg out of our bmw diesel car
