Hi munky . hope you are well bud . Not that it matters a fig but just wondered why you asked what ratio to mix at and every body, to a man, said 50:1 and you said o.k. thanks guys I'll keep mixing at 45:1 then ?

As per the T540's manual:

1:50 (2%) with HUSQVARNA two-stroke oil or JASO FC or ISO EGC GRADE.

1:33 (3%) with oils class JASO FB or ISO EGB formulated for air-cooled, two-stroke engines.

I'd go Aspen 2T, which is pre-mixed to 50:1 or Husqvarna/Stihl HP or LS at 50:1. You're going to be paying out for the oil anyway. If the Husky states with a suitable oil and the oil manufacturer also states 50:1. Why not save 5% where you can?

Nice 1 stubby.

I've always been told the bigger the engine, more oil around the machine.

Right/wrong?

My question is

The same fuel/oil mix for my wonderful t540 and also my slightly older ms660.

Stihl xp for sure
