Thanks for the offer, a few planks would last me ages, but if you have some smaller pieces after you've cut what you need that would be great.

i could quite easily cut some blanks from one of them, they're only 5' long so i would only get 4-5 blanks out of a plank.

Lathe won't take above 10" but would be interested in 2 or 3 that size, but don't want to take anything that you have plans for.
