If you have a log theft problem it really is worth by one of these wildlife cams, 5MP with night vision. Had it up a week after another log theft episode and it's suprising how much activity it shows.

First pic is me just closing up, the last is some log thieves in action, suprising enough they are women !

The others I have no idea what they are doing.

what about gates dean, those big bits of lego arent doing much:001_rolleyes:

Thats the problem Stevie, I started building walls and making a secure compound then this land swap thing came about, so no point piling money in to end up giving it all away. Didn't think the swap would take two years, so I'm waiting to get on with it.

Only problem with them James, is they are triggered with motion sensors.

Just below shot is a little track which is the access road to the scout camp, so as you can imagine, if it was slightly lower it would be photographing every car going to the scout camp .

When I move over the road I'm going to spend some dosh and get a dome camera installed which is radio linked to my house 800m away so I can sit watching television with one eye and the other can be watching the yard.

I have a complicated cctv system installed at home, so it's just a case of linking it into that.

It will just be a standard camera with a long range video sender on one of those long metal lamp posts. Should put people off nosing round with a few signs telling them they are being watched.
