Can you match a CS100 to a truck

Chaps, I bought into a CS100 chipper and its very, very good at what it does. Its not a road tow, at the moment, trailers going to cost me 1k+ to sit it in. That's not my whole problem. If I want to match this set up to a truck then what would you do?

Current options are a 110 hicap with a purpose built back and a winch to get the chipper in, with an ifor 8x5 for chip/logs, or 2, a 55 plate tranny crew cab tipper. My work is domestic at present, only been going 5 minutes. Does not having a 4x4 trailer combo reduce your flexibility?

Many thanks:001_smile:

I use a Luton van with a tail lift and wheely bins for chip, logs and sawdust.

I can fit all my kit up top above the cab, pole saw and ladders on the sides, chipper and 8 wheely bins in the back if need be.

12 if the chipper isn't in.

Or I blast into dumpy bags, I can get 3 full ones in, chipper and logs on top aswell.

Also I have a tracked wheel barrow for heavy logs and I can drive it on, lift it up, drive it in and unload.

I also can put the chipper in the barrow with the wheels off and this gives me a tracked chipper.

And it involves lifting nothing heavy:thumbup:
