Forgive me if I'm missing something but with that wrap handle you can't get that saw low enough for felling and the exhaust outlet is going to blow all the rubbish up.

You can get a wrap handle low enough to fell, you're welcome to try one of mine next time I'm penk way, and if he is using the wrap then the muffler would blow straight up

Sorry for the derail, but where did you get those dog teeth from wyk? Wouldn't mind a set like that on mine

The Stihl part number for the dual dog and chain roller kit for the 361 from the IPL is: 1135 650 7750 I suspect the same kit for the 261 fits as well.

The wrap kit, with dogs, new upper AV spring, wide clutch cover, roller catcher, and scrench and all associated mounting hardware is:

1135 007 1007

This guy has them up for sale often, and ships internationally:

It works alright. I'm not a fan of the outlet, though. I'll probably remove it, clean it up, and sell it after I replace it.

For felling. She works just fine. The full wrap only adds about three inches to the side.

I ported a 346Xp cylinder some time ago for someone that wanted it done - I usually take the full saw and do the full job but here we go....:001_rolleyes:

Not revving past 9500rpm:confused1:

It had an air leak caused by a inlet manifold being fitted badly and the carb was far to rich - retuned to around 14,400 and it sounded a lot crisper:thumbup:

Inlet manifold was re-sealed and is now 100%

346 kicked over after a few pulls today, sounds like it's running nice, stamp on it makes it a 2002 saw, needs a chainbrake band and chain catcher.

254 is not heated as some muppet has cut the wires!? Obviously had to replace the front handle and decided to cut all the wires to save time :( grrr! Haven't ran it yet as it has no fuel cap, but compression is there!

371 has a fuel cap and compression, but not much other plastic bits, so I need starter side, top cover, air filter, dead man handle, clutch cover, and the bits that hold the clutch on
