The rear projection marker should not be orange, should it?

hard to tell from the picture the length of rear overhang, but the law states a load can over hang the rear of a trailer 6'6'' or 2m before a rear projection marker is needed.

 

however the law also states that all telephone companies on route should be

notified if the load is taller than 5.25 meters tall.

 

side projection markers are only needed when the overall width is more than 2.9 meters wide.
