Sorry to hear it.

Lost mine almost exactly 10 years ago. I never did replace him. :(

Something very special about being at one with an animal you work with, almost magical.

I hope you do find one to replace him.

Theres a farm next to us in Strathnairn Inverness-shire that breeds Clydesdales. I love looking at them whenever I pass and would love one in the future.

Sorry for your loss :(

Thanks all for support. Reminded all the time with special tools and equipment and people calling for work contracts using horses. We buried him in the fields he lived in as classed as PET not livestock like EU wanted to do. Been looking for a new Clyde this evening.

Very sorry to hear your news. We lost our 18yo mare Holly (the one in my avatar) back in August, she was my first logging horse and her passing left me at a complete loss. However have two youngsters we are bringing on and we are back up and running and all is good, but life will never quite be the same. They are a big part of your life, especially when you work with them everyday.

Best of luck in the search for your new horse.
