we use this model, and use the bollard quite a bit it's easy to use on medium and big stuff, and we have snatched some big stuff in it ! We have used the winch a few times and it's excellent ! It's Getting used on Thursday to assist a 60 foot wind blown Lawson that we are going to try an sit back in its root plate before felling :-/.... All being well !!! The only extra I would like to get is the kerf bar that fits into the top of the back plate, but saying that we haven't had much movement of the system whilst using it !,

Nice photos, I'm getting one within the next week or so just waiting for the accountant to give me the yearly sting :D. Does the winch take well to lowering decent loads ie will a shock load wreck it ?.

think we have used our bollard once or twice just to try it out, we always use the winch for lowering they can take a beating there designed well long as you wrap the rope round it the right way will take what you will give it. :thumbup1:
