I think I have managed to convince the bosses that purchasing a mid range saw will be beneficial to the team, mainly because our 261 does most of all floor work and to be honest is a complete pile. A bit like my thread a while ago when up dating our top handles I wanted to steer away from the 201 because of bad press so is the ms441 any better? That was my initial recommendation today with a 20 odd inch bar. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers mark.

Would love to Jon , but every time I look at a husky I break out in a sweat, heart beat goes irregular , then av sleepless night , then at first light I see my 441 and all is well . Mark 441 or 461 the choice is yours.

I had a 441 for about 6 / 7 months and it spent more time at the dealer than it did working for me , ended up taking an old stock ms460 of the dealer in it's place , must say the 460's been great but the 441 and 261 that ended up needing a crank nearly put me of Stihl for life . When my 200t's are done it's gonna be a husky 540 for me .

IMO my old 372 is way better than the Friday afternoon 441 I had .
