Land rover defender 130 tipper body....

Went past there today, these are out the front.

They weren't interested in building it.

I decided to build it myself and service metals at braintree have been really helpfull with what bits I would need.

I have ordered my 130 chassis cab and it is going into build next week and I am in the same situation. I am trying to find a company to put a tipping body on it and it is booked in to cuthbertson to move my plough from my 110 double cab and fit a removable gritter body on there too. But land rover are messing about with bodys and companys with only two in the country having the right to fit a body one in the very south of England and the other in Cardiff. What use is that then one wants £5000 to fit the body and put through an iva!!

Have any of you got prices for a body??

dragging this thread back up, here is what I built.

Just mudguards, rope eyes and possibly gantry (depends how much weight I have left to spare) to sort and then get some paint on all of it.
