I do think I will end up going this way my 346 is a great saw i got it just as 550 come out .just not sure on this auto tune rubbish .ive got a mate who got a 560 nothing but problems but I would think the problems have been sorted by now.

I said exactly the same when I heard about the autotune saws, now I wouldn't doubt them

Irrespective of make or model, I wouldn't have a 70cc saw and a 60, they're too close.

70ish cc saw certainly but you'd pair it up with something in the 40 to 50cc bracket, having done that I reckon you could cope with just about anything.

i don't cut anything that warrants a 42! 30" gives me 60" ish although have a nice pop to fell where a 36" would be nice!

A longer bar gives you more options, you could use it for milling up to 36", and is always useful when you need that bit more.

Oh and you can do more than 60" with a 30" bar

I was thinking that I must admit I could stick with the 346xp as I only got in June 2012 and go with a 372.

As for bar size I was thinking 15" on the 560 and 20" on 372.

stick with346,go with 372, wait a year and see if the 560 have had the problems fixed
