My insurance runs out on 22 December so looking for best quotes.i with the Nfu who re quoted £687 for the valmet + bored trailer. Anyone had any quotes of at arbrisk yet I had an email today they have started doing vehicle insurance? If not who seems competitive.

Just had a look at krpan's look really smart.And I've called mashalls my budget may just push to a 5.5e I'm ordering two new saws this week aswell so maxed out. I'm getting prices sent over for uniforest as well .

You are right up until the 560 I did all my own repairs not that I ever had many. I do prefer the idea of the 620sx and saving a few ££s online is always good. £170 saving is half an acre of standing timber I should stop thinking about it and go for the obvious more money in my pocket and reliability.

We'll change of plan I've been to look at a good few acres of beech all on banks today so will need a 3 point linkage winch( long pulls and bigger trees). So what winch have you got and what do you suggest ?

Right can only get a echo local for £650 or a 362 with heated handle for £650 it's time to makeu mind up. So the stihl has les grunt than the echo but that's not going to make me cut 2 ton a day more so it comes down to reliability & price? I'm going to stick to my local dealer as I've built a good relationship

I will give them a call again tomorrow but you know what it's like some shops don't seem to want to sell anything.£600 each and I would be happy and he's sold two saws.

That's worth a call brushcutter I never look at the ads on here. The super winch I take it just needs a mounting plate and services ?

I have got a shop about 10 miles away but he wants £660 instead of £584 that's my yearly per of boots.

It will likely cost all of £3k to install a front linkage and PTO will it not? Cheaper to buy a tractor with it already on and sell yours... Don't, the boss would go mad(wife). What winches are you running on your tractors bob?

I've come close to running it over with the valmet a few times but that said I loved it best saw I've ever had when working,just fed up of problems.

I I haven't got front linkage I was thinking of putting one on.I looked at the farmi hydraulic winch but I think it's about 3k and not rated for a lot.

I've got a valmet 6400 and botex trailer and I am looking to buy a winch. I don't want to have to take trailer of so looking for options was thinking front mounted winch or front 3 piont linkage and winch? Any help or advise would be helpful.

Same story I'm afraid,fed up with my 560 so going to buy a 620sx or 362 my local dealer can only do the 362 and I will have to order the 620 online so not sure about warranty work if needed. The echo has nothing but praise on here how about the 362 ? Do I stick with my dealer on buy a echo online.i will be buying 2 saws at the same time.
