Holzhauer, Wimmer and Serra are out of your price range, by some considerable degree. That said, if money were no object, I'd have a Wimmer BN110. There is no finer mobile mill.

Everything about them is truly lovely. Comparing a Woodmizer to a Wimmer is like comparing a Ford Fiesta to a Ferrari. Both will get you there, but given the choice.....

He's continuing that great tradition of a bloke in a shed tinkering and adjusting things until it works like he wants, fair play to him.

Was (very idly, admittedly) pondering the wisdom of buying Cookssaw 30" band wheel set, an falling to with the buzz-box welder and a wheen o girders.

T0 construct a bandsawmill in-situ.

Running on railway track, set on concrete sleepers for added stability.

Realistically would also require to price in a large 3ph genny and a 25kva 3ph motor to drive the headworks.

Though a tractor PTO genny would suffice.
