Spike problems

Hi

I'm currently looking on buying spikes soon. But every spikes I've had on will not fit me they become loose when I'm climbing and it's annoying. Does anyone know of any that are really small fit. My size 5 boots prob don't help!

Probably shouldn't suggest this, but have you considered taking a pair to a metal workers to see if they can heat and adjust them to fit your show size?

I'm not a metal worker so you'd have to ask their advice on that one.....can't see why it couldn't be done though

I should imagine with a size 5 boot you dont weigh in at anywhere near the 20stone that I do, so in theory any decent metal worker could sort your problem, or you could just bluetac some drawing pins to your tennytiny boots!!

I use Buckingham titaniums Velcro straps, you need to do the foot straps up well tight and they do work loose. Heating and bending them can weaken them but maybe not to breaking point in use. I found you need your boots to match your spikes .
