dont get a new 372 x torq!! heard loads of problems with them replacing cylinders etc and dealers having to refund due to constant problems.

.....

I wonder where that "info" is from, as it doesn't add up with anything I have heard or read before.....:confused1:

My dealer had had lots of problems with 372 xtorq won't idle right and revs don't drop on power off. I had a pre xtorq and was brilliant but when she died went to 576 and it's great. Will easily pull 28 bar and goes like a train. Will be interesting to see how it goes once I get it ported.

Ok understood . My 372 is pre X torque by a long chalk but is spud ported so performs above standard . Totally reliable . If you can get a good / recent pre X torque saw then thats the way I would go knowing what I know . Then get spud to port it ! :001_smile:

Got an X torq and so far so good, I did have the not dropping to idle when coming off the power. But waited until I had put quite a few tank fulls through it and then tuned it up and its as good as now. Still lovin it.

Exactly the same here, no complaints though. If I'm logging something up with a guy with a pre x Torq 372, mine cuts quicker and is far more economical on fuel. I haven't heard of any major problems from the dealers ?
