We're in the middle of making our little boys xmas present ~ it's a DIY WigWam.

8ft ash poles (drying out fast & starting to split!), 2m of rustic rope and a patchwork cover. Also working on some small accessories to go with it - log slithers, etc

p.s... only one light bulb in the light fitting to save 2/3rds lighting energy!

That is awesome H-a. What would be the cost of one.

Want one to put down the lifeboat. We have oars on the daughter craft, it's used for beach landing, and is also Incase things go a bit wrong, has an outboard but also has two oars for when the outboard fails. So these come in when you are up .... Creek.... Lol.

They take a bit of time to make, would prove expensive.

When I make some more I will, make you one, RNLI is a good cause.

Loving the wigwam . I spent many a happy hour in my wigwam as a child pretending to be tonto . You know the Lone Rangers side kick circa 1975 . The Paddle is an excellent gift . Nice detail on the sign age:biggrin:

Nice looking paddle, will shift a fair bit of water. I presume it's for flatwater days out.

It is a "Sugar Island" style paddle, river canoe paddle. I always have a couple in the boat, in case the outboard plays up.

I have made different sizes and the one in the first photo is a good general purpose size, gets you back.
