yes. I did it on a fork not using a friction saver. it was when i first got it and i had to replace the rope. Always use friction management when descending fast!!

Yes Was over a branch, I am hoping that the rope will be ok.... Will climb on it tomorrow and see ,on the upside it was well fun got to think positive about these situations :)

Easy but fun way to kill clutches :) I'm doing one every 3 weeks at the moment and I use the brake as it should be used, how is everyone else doing ?

Had my SJ for about a year now, mines the SJ 2 with the Dyneema, its been through countless clutches and about 4 new Ropes. Now i've mastered it, its great fun, it's teamed up with a ART Primus. Now that is a serious good rope anchour.

was every month but seem to last longer now I have changed the main body which was well worn after a years use.

Sweet mines only had a few months climbing on it so got a while till the body goes hopefully. I think the biggest change I've had to make is when going out on a large limb pulling a load of rope through in front of me. So the rope flows through the SJ.
