I know a few of you have invested in one and I'm about to join the club, my question is for you owners who have had them for a few years can you honestly say it's worth the cost versus my current 3001 stein ?.

Is the lifting capability really worth the couple of grand ?.

Thanks lads.

depends on your work really, when dismantling its so handy to have the abilities to pre tension and lift sections. ive also got the rc3001 but if theres rigging to do the grcs always comes out first, can use it to pick timber onto your truck, pull over trees, tension up speedlines it opens a new world of rigging really. :thumbup1:

Great piece of kit , we use it all the time , every climber / groundy that has worked. with us comments how good the grcs is , also it speeds the job up because instead of just lowering you lift limbs over / backward & bring them down where you want them ... :))

I use one twice a week at least, just bloody awesome. Today I used it on a big poplar with a snapped out leader, we winched it out of the tree it was hung up in and lowered it to safety once clear.

So versatile - buy one now.
