A quick update from big Davo D.

Seem that we were all wrong it isnt just an original its a hand cafted one off! Hence the problem we are all having with the idents.

Davo had probs with the moon only being in the first quarter it was difficult to see the moonofluresent markings apparently, but he did manage to find them all. Strange thing is though half way through the phone call (while he was checking it out) heard some strange noises a bit of a scuffle and the phone went dead!

Not heard back from him so if anyone is down that way can they check about , no doubt there should be some orangey fake tan trails knocking about.

Is that a photo I saw of the four in your big shed mate, if it is, then I must have the japanese version - you know, the ones that were miniaturised when they also did that job on the twin battery Motorola brick phone. Plus I could not see any chrome on the long one in the middle, has that suffered from the same problem as mine or has it worn off with constant missuse?

if you remember, the longer minature version was only painted chrome to keep the weight down, they wanted it gold originally but would of knocked it off balance when placed on its giroscope for the mars landing trial back in 78
