Most defiantly abc or Arial bundled cable ie live power line but try telling that to a old farmer who knows better than tree cutters........ Or electric board linesmen who came to shut it down.....

Or police who asked him to step aside and let the professionals do what they do. All because he didn't want us to steel his logs!

Yes,on. Council stuff mostly disamantles over phone lines a lot,on storm stuff tomo I think,try get some pics up!beecraigs should be messy lol...

He must have thought it was a thick BT cable, they're about 1/2" thick each! Those aerial bundled conductors shoot up rather sharpish when freed too!

 

I almost got skewered today, was crosscutting some oak limbs from a tree previously worked on, a limb sheared from another tree, landed 10ft behind me, didn't hear it over the 051, bloke I was working with signalled me and pointed behind me!
